So it begins....

Starting a new RC blog related to my adventures in learing to fly an RC helicopter.

I started out with buying one heli, just to see if I could fly it. I found it on sale at the Hobby People near my house. I learned to fly this one tail-in (tail pointing at you), then quit flying when the time changed, as it was too dark to fly when I got home from work (couldn't really fly on the weekends). Then decided to get a more responsive heli to fly in the spring. I went on ebay and found a good package deal on a Eflite Blade CP Pro. Flew that one for a few months, but it wasn't very stable in the wind. I then bought an Align Trex 450 SA heli. This heli was bigger and should handle the wind alot better. It was also the 1st kit model I bought, and I'd have to build and set this one up myself! This heli had much better performance than the 1st two heli's I learned on! I then purchased a Eflite Blade CX2 co-axial heli, to fly indoors when I didn't feel like going outside. This heli is the most stable of all, which is great for some living room flying!

So what started as an impulse buy of a basic heli I saw on sale (always wanted to learn to fly an RC heli, since I saw one as a little kid), turned into a fleet of 4 helicopters! EF Sabre, Blade CP Pro, Trex 450 SA, and Blade CX2, and I still can't fly a circuit :(
