New Thunder Power Battery
I picked up a new 910 mah 16C 3-cell lipo for my Blade CP Pro. I recently converted my CPP to a "separates" setup, using a new Spektrum receiver, Phoenix 25 brushless esc, brushed tail esc with direct drive prop, and Eflite 4100 Kv motor. I was testing out my new battery when I lost the tail rotor! The tail rotor popped off the motor shaft, and heli went spinning out of control! Luckily I was only a few feet up and brought it down with no damage. I replaced the tail rotor (this time I epoxied the prop to the motor shaft!) and I was good to go again. Still need to fly and cycle my new battery to figure out what to set my timer to. I want to set the timer to use only 80% of the batts capacity, to keep it nice and healthy :)
